underground books is integrated within a larger entity, the 23,000 square foot multi-use 40 Acres Art Gallery and Cultural Center, located at 35th Street and Broadway in Oak Park, Sacramento, and consisting of a performing arts facility, an art gallery, a coffeeshop, a barbershop and twelve apartments.

Art is a vital, integral aspect of the entire 40 Acres project and fulfills the Art Gallery's mandate to bring art to the community - by presenting exhibitions, public art installations, educational programming and special events where people live, eat and socialize.

Tuesday - Friday: 12pm - 7:30pm
Saturday: 10am - 7:30pm
